New Leaf vs Allterra Solar: Hardwood Celebrity Classic Benefiting Grind Out Hunger
Two teams of local celebrity athletes, musicians and city officials will battle it out at the Kaiser Permanente Area, the official home of the Santa Cruz Warriors. Watch local celebrities James Durbin, Showbiz from the KDON Morning Maddhouse, Scott Roseman, The Allen Brothers, Reggie Stephens and JWillz of Cruzmatik, Mayor Hilary Bryant, MMA Fighter Josh Thompson, Fred Keeley, Ryan Coonerty,Ryan Buell, KSBW’s Dale Julin and more take the court for this fun filled fundraiser. All proceeds benefit Grind Out Hunger. Doors open at 5pm for a reception with great food from Pono Hawaiian Grill. In-game entertainment will include a half-court shot sponsored by Hotel Paradox, the Grind Out Hunger mini balltoss sponsored by Yogurtland, and a half time performance by Santa Cruz Warriors mascot, Mav’riks! The game will kick off with a draft by team leaders Scott Roseman of New Leaf and The Allen Brothers of Allterra Solar with announcers Kim Luke of the Santa Cruz Warriors and MC Fred Keeley of the CA State Assembly
